Delete Account
You can delete your ChimeBuddy account and request deletion of associated personal data.
Option A (recommended): Delete in the app
- Open the app
- Go to Settings
- Tap Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm deletion
(If your in-app flow is located elsewhere, update the steps above to match exactly.)
Option B: Request deletion by email
Email support@chimebuddy.com with:
- Subject: Delete My Account
- The email/username used for your account
- Your facility name (if applicable)
What happens when you delete
- Your account will be deactivated and scheduled for deletion.
- We delete or anonymize personal data unless we must retain certain information for legal/security reasons.
- Some content you posted in shared areas may remain visible but will no longer be tied to your identity (anonymized), depending on your community settings.
- Backup systems may retain data for a limited time before it is fully removed.
Typical deletion timeframe: within 30 days.
If you want to request deletion of specific data without deleting your account, email support with “Data Deletion Request.”
