These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ChimeBuddy app and services. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1) Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account.
2) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate others
- Share illegal or harmful content
- Attempt to access accounts or systems without authorization
- Disrupt the service or overload systems
3) User content
You retain ownership of content you post, but you grant us a license to host, store, and display that content as needed to operate the service.
4) Facility context
If your use is associated with a senior living community, certain features may involve facility staff (e.g., help requests). The facility may have its own policies that also apply.
5) Safety & disclaimers
ChimeBuddy is not an emergency service and is not a replacement for 911. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
6) Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose safety/security risks.
7) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
8) Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the Effective Date when changes are made.
